Happy "Half" Birthday Grace!!

Don't ya just wanna squeeze those chubby cheeks?

I'm a day late with this post, but YESTERDAY Grace was 6 months old!! I can hardly believe it has been 6 months since she was born.

 Looking back, it seems to have flown by! She has grown so much in 6 little months, it is really amazing. She is starting to form different letter sounds now, she obviously has the "ga-ga" down pat...but I did hear here the other day say "Daa--eee". Plain as day!! And fortunately, she said it TO Adam. He made sure to ask immediately if I heard it! And of course, I had!! :)

She has also said a few times..."bruh....bruh"  While playing with Austin. The "br" is very new for her, and Austin was pretty excited to hear that!!

Now as far as mama, she did utter something of the sort a while ago...but was anyone else around?? Nope!! ;) Oh well, it won't be long I'm sure!

I have a feeling, that she is going to be a little chatter box, just like her brother was! Another thing they share, is their inability to ROLL! Well, I should clarify, Austin can roll now.....but at 6 months he was a stationary little stinker! ;) Austin basically went from sitting to maybe a scoot for a week or two, to walking. Never really rolled or crawled. So, Grace looks to be heading down that path!! She detests being on her belly, or as my pediatrician likes to say, Tummy Time. It sounds like a pleasant thing, doesn't it?? Tummy time...it has a nice ring to it! It is anything but pleasant!! If this girl is left to fend for herself on her tummy, LOOK OUT!! It will single handedly ruin her whole day! "Oh just leave her there, if she gets mad enough she'll roll over", they all say! I'd offer to "show" them tummy time to prove my point, but it's not worth the risk!! HA!

But, she does lover her walker! She gets around in it pretty good already!! She can now move forward in it, even on the carpet! She has been scooting around backwards for a few months now, but she finally figured out how to go forward! Much easier seeing where your going! Although she still manages to corner herself at the kitchen cupboards! :)

She has hit many milestones over the last 6 months, all of which have brought such great joy to both Adam and I, and also Austin. He loves his little sister so much, and it really melts my heart to see her love for him in return. I'm so thankful God gave us Grace... the love of siblings is truly amazing. <3
